On November 2nd, according to the Australian Financial Review, 7 of Australia’s 87 richest entrepreneurs aged 40 and under are the founders of crypto companies.
AFR’s list includes 87 richest entrepreneurs in their 40s. Melanie Perkins and Cliff Obrecht, co-founder and COO of popular graphic design software provider Canva, top the list. The net worth of the married couple is estimated to be 12.3 billion US dollars.
Seven on the list are from the crypto field. Among them, Kain Warwick, the founder of the derivatives trading protocol Synthetix, ranks seventh with a net worth of US$655 million. Aaron, Grant and Keiran, founders of Illuvium games, also made the list.
