Bitcoin broke through US$68,000 per coin, setting a new record high. The US’s first Bitcoin futures ETF, the ProShares Bitcoin Strategy ETF, launched last month, rose more than 8% on Monday.
Some analysts believe that both Bitcoin and Ethereum will continue to show upward trends in the coming weeks.

In a report on Monday, Mikkel Morch, executive director of the cryptocurrency hedge fund ARK36, stated that Bitcoin’s $70,000 price now “seems to be coming.”

Others have made bolder predictions about the direction of Bitcoin. JP Morgan Chase last week reiterated its prediction that Bitcoin will eventually reach $146,000 and expects to reach half of its target next year, which is $73,000.
