Payments and financial infrastructure company Stronghold announces the launch of Stronghold Capital, a $100 million investment fund that will invest in three core areas: neglected and underrepresented founders and fund managers, payments and fintech ecosystems, Web3 and blockchain chain ecosystem.

Stronghold CEO and co-founder Tammy Camp will serve as Stronghold Capital’s fund manager. The fund has invested in Sam Bankman-Fried’s Alameda Research through Maple Finance’s DeFi lending, and has invested in Precursor Ventures, which supports promising seed-stage innovators and is looking to invest in founders who are female, LGBTQ+ or Black, Indigenous, People of Color (BIPOC) companies.

“Stronghold Capital will create opportunities to develop new products and business models that improve everyone’s financial infrastructure,” said Stronghold CEO Tammy Camp.
