Crypto payment company Crypterium announced the completion of 3.1 million euros financing through the financing platform Seedrs, with a post-investment valuation of 85 million euros.
Almost all of these funds come from European investors, but since less than one-third of Crypterium’s customers are from Europe, and European investment regulations prevent non-European investors from participating in initial financing, Crypterium plans to conduct a broader round for global investors invest. There are no details on the date of the next round of investment, but the Crypterium team hinted that it will start this year.
The first round of financing will be dedicated to product development and promotion, as well as to improve core business areas (such as service quality), improve product functions, and help expand the global coverage of Crypterium’s business.
